Canada School of Public Service
In addition to presenting specialist staffing courses through the Canada School of Public Service, CAWLAR Consulting develops and presents staffing information sessions and workshops targeting various audiences. This includes incorporating the department’s internal policies and practices to make the training specific to that department.
Appointment Framework Knowledge Test (AFKT)
CAWLAR Consulting tutors and coaches new staffing recruits to prepare them for the AFKT and to provide them with the knowledge foundation which they need in order to effectively advise line managers and assessment committees.
CAWLAR Consulting also offers various “generic” (or “soft”) training courses and workshops, such as:

- Time management
- Effective communication
- Setting priorities
